Paint Colour Matching
Melton Paint mixes automotive paint to your car's factory paint code in-house at our Melton store. We use the DeBeer and Mipa mixing systems, so whether you're a panel shop or doing a repair at home, you get the right colour first time.
We have access to over 1.5 million paint codes, covering every car make and model worldwide. If your car has a factory paint code, we can mix it.
What we can mix
- Aerosols - 400ml cans mixed to your paint code, ready in 1-2 business days
- Litres - basecoat and 2K colour in tins for spray guns
- Classic and modern colours - from Holden, Ford and Valiant classics to current models
- Industrial and fleet colours - ask us about your colour
How to order
- Find your paint code. It's on the body plate or compliance sticker, usually in the engine bay, door jamb or boot.
- Choose a size: aerosol or litres.
- Order online, call us or come in. Mixed paint is ready to collect in 1-2 business days.

Good to know
- Older paint can fade, so the match to your car may not be exact. A test spray on a hidden area is always a good idea.
- Most colours need a clear coat over the top. We'll match the right primer and clear for you.
- Aerosols can be posted for a flat $22. Tins of paint and thinners are click and collect only from 14 Zal Street, Melton.
- Mixed paint can't be returned for change of mind.
